The Forum
1. The Forum is for topics of discussion. The forum guidelines are posted in a drop down menu under the forum tab. 2. To start a new discussion in the forum, click on the forum tab and then "start a new discussion". 3. This will take you to a place where you can put in your title, content and you can decide which category it fits under. All that will show up on the main page. 4. There are many Forum topics in the Archives....Be sure to read those. |

Blog
1. The Blog
is for announcements. Things you want to share about
yourself insights, maybe a story maybe something that you have
discovered.2. To start a blog post go to 'My Page' 3. Information about the Blog can be found in the drop down menu from "My Page". |
Using the Chat
Feature * The Chat Feature has 3 functions: telling you who's on line and willing to chat, clicking their picture will be offered some options: you will have the ability to IM them or to view their profile. When you click their profile information you will be taken to their page where you will see whether they are really on line or not by the indication of the green dot. * To Chat type in your message in the space under the large box and click enter...you can add an emotion by clicking the smiling face, click on the emotion you want to enter and hit enter on you keyboard. * The Chat feature allows you to either show yourself as on line or off line - if you choose off line you can still search the website -but will be unavailable to chat until you click on line again. * With the IM (Instant Messaging) you can chat with the other members who are on line and it's private. * When you choose to IM you will be taken to a different screen with just that person visible - to get back to the main chat feature there is a drop down menu that allows you to move back and forth between the IM and Chat. * You can Chat and IM from all the pages on this web site. And there is also a Chat Tab on the main menu bar that takes you to a larger screen. |
